Newborn
Newborn Photography is my main speciality. These brand new babies are so precious, and this is where I focus my business. My education, studio and passion are all focused around brand new babies. Safety is always my top priority while doing your session. I have taken training as well as spoken in length with a Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist for BC Women’s NICU about the safety of a Newborn during a session. When you book a Newborn Session you receive a full experience, everything is provided by Ashlee Nadine Photography. A fully stocked Studio with everything from wraps and outfits to props and backdrops. Together we will create a custom session that best suits your style. Each session includes Family, Grandparents are also welcome. For each session there is a studio portion as well as a lifestyle portion that can take place in your home or in my lifestyle studio. The studio is fully stocked with snacks, coffee and tea, and a comfortable couch for you to relax on during the session. Sessions usually take place within the first 3 weeks of life and the goal is to have baby as sleepy as possible for the session. A simple prep guide will be given to you upon booking. Babies can be unpredictable, but do not worry. I expect to be peed on, for them to cry, to need feeding breaks and whatever else comes our way during a session - this includes spunky siblings who do not want to cooperate! I am a Mom myself and am happy to answer any questions you have about a session, I prefer to meet with clients at my studio so we can discuss the details and it allows you to see the props and different options. If you book early I am happy to fully customize your session!

Fresh 48
The first 48 hours of a newborn life, I don’t think there is anything more precious in this world. We spend those first 48 hours in complete awe of the baby we have created, grown and brought into this world. It is no easy task, no matter your birth story but it is an accomplishment you will be proud of for life. A Fresh 48 Session takes place during the First 48 hours of life, generally done in the Hospital unless baby is born at home. Its a time that I understand is vulnerable and intimate, and as a Photographer I do my best to come in and hang back while I capture those moments. I bring the cute onesie that says “Im here”, the adorable swaddles and the letter board so you do not have to worry about anything but your newborn baby. The imagery is meant to be raw and emotional, there is no need to feel you have to get yourself or your family ready for these sessions. A fresh Newborn is something I am very comfortable with, I am conscious of germs and of the importance of skin to skin time. Rest assured I will not interrupt the important things that happen during those 48 hours, I will simply capture them in beautiful images. Fresh 48 photography is offered to people delivering in the Smithers BC Hospital.
